Shoe

Imagine if we could all have the same taste
That we could all put on something that matches our dress
And suppose to resolve every difference in same manner,
But wearing the same shoe does not make us walk likewise
Means to say that everybody cannot put themselves
In everyone else’s position, thus sometimes it’s a wrong a calling

What type of a shoe does a pregnant women wear?
As labor comes knocking at the door.
Heard that it’s rather a shoe of mixed emotions
One that is painted the color of pain and joy
A shoe that only female species is cursed to fit in
Who else is able to wear such for months if not thee

What type of a shoe is an orphan kid wearing?
For the absence of parental affection becomes a virus
Wondering around the streets to seek a new identity
A broken smile and sadden face answers a question that is not asked.
A shoe of begging from house to house is not complicated to tie
One willing to embrace a diet that is rather life threatening

Have you ever asked what a grown man’s feet is wearing?
For he is a father of seven and still counting
Feeding a nation with high expectations is his war to fight.
Sweat and pain comes with a shoe that is hard to walk in
Yet masters to take big steps, that’s how he provides,
A figure called father can be seen as a number that only wears me
