If We Feared God Like Covid-19

Could you imagine how mad the devil would be if we feared God as much as covid-19
When his lies no one believes and his confusion only confirms our faith
Would he be dismayed at the peace we would create
When we live our lives determined by God's fate instead of our old worldly ways
What would the devil say when he sees his devilish games no one wants to play
That his foolish schemes have fizzled away
When his hate has no place
And the tension he once was so easy to create
Had all but slipped away
To simply be replaced by forgiveness and grace
When people use the word to determine what's right and wrong
And when we care about what God thinks more than any other thing
Would there be an overwhelming sense of peace
Would we believe the best is yet to be seen
Could you imagine how the world would be
If people feared God like they do covid-19.
