Death's Last Question And My Last Wish
Death’s Last Question & My Last Wish
"To My Crush"
One cold night, as time stood still,
A shadow came against my will.
Wrapped in silence, dressed in black,
Death had come—no turning back.
Then Death in whispers, dark and deep,
Asked one question I must keep:
"If I now stand upon your door,
And ask you once, just once, no more,
A final word before we part,
What echoes last within your heart?"
My Final Answer to You
To you, my love, my aching dream,
A silent wish, a stifled scream.
You were the sun I never touched,
A fire too bright, a love too much.
Yet in my heart, your name still stays,
Like midnight’s moon in silver haze.
I loved you loud, yet spoke so low,
A river deep, yet feared to flow.
Every glance, a burning spark,
That lit my soul yet kept it dark.
Did you not hear my quiet sighs,
That danced like echoes in the skies?
I was the song you never heard,
A poet lost in unsaid words.
My hands reached out in empty air,
To hold a dream too light to bear.
Like autumn leaves that never stay,
You passed me by, then blew away.
But if my time must end tonight,
Let this one truth now burn bright:
"I loved you then, I love you still,
Beyond the grave, beyond all will.
And if a next life calls to me,
I'll find you first—so wait for me."
Then with a tear, I closed my eyes,
A falling star in endless skies.
And as my soul began to fade,
One last whisper softly swayed:
"Bushan loved, but loved in vain,
Yet love like his will rise again.
If heaven grants one wish to me,
In your arms is where I'll be."
