Lost Humanity

To become free, to live in peace and harmony,
 Is it necessity or rationality?
To have ego and hate, to be vulnerable and angry,
Is it revenge or sympathy?
Mankind is like a gallery of images,
With same framework but different background and themes.
The compassion for honor and pride, peace of mind and bliss,
Drags youths towards righteousness and success.
In parallel comes and ominous fate, keeping them from sanity.
Blowing away the righteousness comes a storm of discontent and fury.
Contaminates chaotic souls making them unsafe,
Creating disputes in which some perish leaving grief and a message.
“Onset of an enigma contaminates the ignorant souls at an instant making them devils of the modern so called civilized society,
Expanding hate, filth, greed and dark desires rather than happiness, love, peace and prosperity.”

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
