Sorrows of Tears

SORROWS OF TEARS

The world is such a painful place to be
It has blessed us with stings of a bee
Yet with free-flowing lyrics of art
Permit me to unleash the agonies of my heart

Those painful moments of a wandering soul
At the lonely night abode of an owl
Where my gentle screams of fear
Are empty because no one listens to hear

Darkness befalls my soul at night
As I journey through the path with a tiny light
With pain so deep even to the bone marrow;
and a haunting regret that only the strong can swallow

Never look out for the scars of my past
While I wear my deceptive smile to overcast
Just look deeper into the anguish of my eyes
Pains have turned me into a master of disguise

I know I solely deserve this agonizing pain
To sit out and die alone in the scorching rain
To die, I must have to do this alone
But the source of my pain remains unknown

In reality, we live just once
But life offers each man a second chance
My long walk towards genuine happiness
can also be found in the altar of authentic goodness

There is a glimpse of hope that falls from my heart
Even amidst the battles that keep my soul apart
Kindly come with me and hold my hand
At the end, my sorrows you will surely understand.

Thanks for sharing this. God bless you. Meanwhile, I greet you with a Joyous New Year with this prayer from the Bible in Numbers 6:24-26, "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
