I Think I Found the Words

So lost, yet now found
Schemed for my death, no longer bound
I was living a lie, too long believed
But now, I think I found the words

I found myself in His word
Captured by every page, every word
It was there all along, long forgotten
Right now, I think I found the words

I chose to watch from afar
And the lovely lives, my mouth ajar
I observed and admired their heart
Yet now, I think I found the words

I cried myself to sleep
Held my dying heart on my fingertips
Wallowing in pain, shame and grief
Standing now, I think I found the words

I can say it out loud
I will scream it to the whole wide world
Let the shout invade the air
Because now, I have found the words

On every page, written in my heart
I’m entangled in the strings to his heart
He captured my soul, body, skin and bone
Yea, now I have found the words

Thanks for sharing this. God bless you. Meanwhile, I greet you with a Joyous New Year with this prayer from the Bible in Numbers 6:24-26, "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
