To the Climbers

To be ordinary is extraordinary,
To be still is a mad endeavour,
To be sad is easier than happiness,
To get by, a challenging venture.

The battle starts at dawn,
Does it end, there's no way to know!
For the dear mother of fresh thoughts and
Joyous health, let him wear nights away!

Hope is a four letter word,
Hope is the voices that enquire,
Fellow comrades don't leave the sickly behind,
The journey ain't solo, poor soul!

And when it all ends, you will see,
The Alpine climb that ceased was aced,
By helping hands and soulful ears,
Those who left, would they've helped?

You'll never know for they never stayed,
Would they have stayed? Who knows!
Little warrior! Hold on to those who chose
To stay, And wait 'til the summit's reached.

The top is where you shed happy tears,
When it all ends, you'll see what strength
You achieved,
After the gloomy guest refused,
To leave until you climbed that Mount!
