I Count the Sheep

Through tear filled eyes and glasses broken,
I fear the darkness I have awoken.
It glares at me, it's very mad,
for what I've done is truly bad.
I duck in fear, hoping for a miss,
to my surprise I get a kiss.
For I had only had a nightmare,
yet she is here full of care.
I lay back down and drift to sleep,
and in this dream I Count The Sheep.
