Haters

you hate me

why

because how i wear my hair

or the way i dress or

the way i walk

or the way i talk

maybe because i'm a female or male

or my skin color is not right

no that's not what it is

you hate me because your not me

you hate me because i'm me

This write is a nice twist on the idea of "walking in someone else's shoes or moccasins before judging them."Wouldn't it be great if people accepted the good in one another and forgave the errors in one another. Thus, leaving the judgements and punishments to God. When will we ever learn and stop hurting one another? Keep writing. God Bless you. And welcome to Poetry Soup. Love, Dane
