Schrodinger's Heart

My heart beats inside a box

I cannot know

If it lives or not

I am dulled and dried

My blood drifts like dust

Through the cold caverns of my
soul

My body travels

From room to room

With no will to arrive.

In the dark I see

The end of things

Waiting

A voice fills bags of sand

And builds a wall

Against the flood of silence

Still your sound

For there are stars before us

With smiles and tender air

There is nothing but time

Between each touch

And good word

The warmth of one

Our skin kisses

I am alive

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
