Capillary Roots

Lilacs blooming
out of my eyes

give me an utterly
gorgeous demise.

If I pull them out
I still can't see;

it's getting increasingly
harder to breathe.

What can I do?
Nobody sees

the discomfort induced
by these glorified weeds.
