Hiding Hurt

The wrong and the pain
the feelings insane

the fights and the hurt
the hiding afterwards is worse

to explain and to open
the things i have buried
the wounds that have healed
the bruises i was wearing and the scars that have sealed

i dont want to talk and dont want to tell
its a part of my life written off as pure hell
i got out, i got free
and at last re-found me

but maybe want to say to other hurting girls
theres better things and people in this big wide world.

Go find them ladies;)x

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Hi Sally, how are you?

Strange I didn't think you were referring to something only women go through. I'm not a woman and I do hide my hurt all the time, plenty in my life I'd classify as pure hell also but it's not a specific time period, more of an emotional intensity I still experience maybe once or twice a week. Feeling hurt can be a lot more confusing if you don't understand exactly what it is that's hurting you, if maybe the whole thing came from inside the whole time...thanks for sharing Sally. -Yoni

I tottaly relate! Love, love, love this insperational poem. We all should not dwell on the ones unworthy of dwelling over, and you brought that message clear. Keep writing and I shall always read. Yours truely, ~Catherine:)
