To My Love

Loving you is not so easy
Sometimes,
Or maybe it is
And I just can't make up my mind
When the moon opens its eyes
And all true things come alive
I say a silent prayer for you
Knowing all things come back
In due time
When the pain is unbearable
And all I can do is cry
I remember your words
They were so kind
So while you're not here
In body or mind
Just want you to know
I will always be here for you
No matter how hard to find.

I was trying to decide if maybe your sweetheart was in the service or maybe you two were having a little trouble, which ever is correct, I am saying a prayer for you, and yours, welcome to the Soup, hope you have a wonderful time here. always, Christy

Welcome to Poetry Soup, Jenny. Great poem! Sometimes we have to step back and ask ourselves why we love someone who hurts us. Your love is luck that you will be there for him. Best wishes, Carolyn
