...????

She meant as much to me as the sun to our dark and devoured planet ,
she is now gone forever without a trace ,
lost and never found , searching but never finding her soul in this place,
Truly the garden of Eden couldn't bloom a more enchanting flower but now she is gone and
this is my darkest hour , more time is left to fear to cower ,
what is here is now known as are April showers ,
what little light we knew now we shall never embrace ,
life is but a dream that our God creates.

there rhyme in this poem trace, place, flower, hour, cower, showers, embrace, creates. It's developed well, I feel the first line is very original, but when you go to cower-April showers it felt a bit force to me to get a rhyme to better flow the poem which made that shower thing out of place for what the rest of the poem is, over all it's a very good poem.

Hi Michael, try www.publishamerica.com. They're open to new authors and have published two of my books. You don't have soup mail set up or I would have responded to your question there. Best Wishes, Carolyn
