Ignorance Amiss

All I wanted for Christmas was everything

Everything I got for Christmas
Now resides at the pawn shop

You ask for the world, you end up with Earth -
Dirty
Rotting
Infested
Utterly confusing

The most liberating thing a person can do
Is say 'I don't know' ... And mean it

But what if you know everything?
What if you know nothing?
What if you know that you know nothing?

Of course no one will believe you
They all 'know' you're full of it
You can't be better than they are

But I am

They just don't 'know' it yet
