The Journey of a Woman

She is like the Dandelion
Tenacious and Bright
Growing with Curiosity
Inquisitively Seeking
As She Peers up at the World
Yearning to know all
Delicate yet Tough
Bruises come so easily
They are Reminders
Of the lessons learned
On this exciting Journey
She is the Spring Maiden
Young and Innocent
Her giggle is like the rain
Her anger can bring a storm
Sweet and Stubborn
Perfectly Imperfect

She is the Ground at our Feet
Our foundation
She is the Wind at our Back
Our strength
She is the Purest of Water
Our Sustenance
She is the Warmth of Life
Our First feeling of Comfort
The Voice calling us back Home
When we get lost on our Journey
She has been taken for Granted
Her needs have been ignored
Yet she provides for us still
With all the Compassion
A Mother possess
We are her Children
Her Love is Unconditional

She is our link to the Past
The Key to our Future
The Guardian at the Crossroads
A light to guide the way
As we continue on our Journey
There is sadness in her eyes
For she has seen pain
It is overshadowed by Wisdom
For she has seen many things
Her Knowledge
Is gained from Experience
Her Word
Is the deepest of Truths
She is the Wise Woman
Listen to what she says
She has earned this respect
She has walked the walk

The Journey of a Woman
A Beautiful Act of Nature
Innocent, Nurturing, Wise
Quiet Strength
Learned from a life well lived
The Journey of a Woman
The Cycle of Birth and Rebirth
Sweet, Caring, Timeless
A Passionate Moon Dance
Full of Love and Grace
How Fortunate we are
To Witness the Magic
How blessed we are
To be part of
The Journey of a Woman
