Checkmate

At last the game has ended
Checkmate, I fell for you 
A pawn in your game of decit
Mercilessly sacraficed for your future queen

Falling back to reality I embrace the final blow
Loving is my sin
Heartbreak was my death sentence
Pain, my final resting place
