There Has To Be Another Way

Why do those who don't deserve it,
suffer the greatest,
and those who do deserve the worst,
live scott free?

Why are we not heard.
and fade into the background,
while those who already have a lot,
collect more and take greedily?

Those like me,
wish for death.
and those who have it all,
live arrogant and naive.

When my day get's here,
which by the grace of God I was saved from previously,
I'll be glad my time is done,
and will crack a smile as I drift to sleep.

That's all I want,
as I pray for it every night.
I hope those who deserve punishment,
get their day painfully.
