Please Dont Fall In Love With Me

Please don’t fall in love with me,
I’ll only break your heart.
Please don’t fall in love with me,
I’ll wreck it from the start.
Please don’t fall in love with me,
And look into my eyes.
Please don’t hold my hand,
Or ask for lullabies.
Please don’t hear my music,
And please don’t read my poems.
Please don’t send sweet messages,
And please don’t call my phone.
Please don’t say you miss me,
Please don’t say you care;
And most of all,
Please don’t say you’ll always need me there.
Please don’t say you’re lonely,
Please don’t hug my neck.
Please don’t tell me how your life without me is a wreck.
Please don’t buy me coffee,
Please don’t cook my meals.
Please don’t let me tell you how broken my heart really feels.
Please don’t bring me flowers,
Please don’t pour my wine.
And no matter what you ask me,
I’ll just always say I’m fine.
Please don’t say you’re sorry,
Please don’t make me stay.
Because the more you try to love me,
The farther I’ll push your love away.
Please don’t try to hold me,
Please don’t wipe my tears;
And please don’t make me tell you how I’ve loved you all these years.
