My Conversion With Life

My Conversation with Life

In the Journey across, I saw her pass
It was MY LIFE and I could not stop but ask
"Hey, Can we have a talk?"
And she Said, *Why not... Come with me..
Let's walk!"
I asked her ,"Why not halt, Sit and take some rest? "
She said, "I cannot stop, for I have to move on. " But tell me, What's your quest?
She sounded so busy, worried and stressed
I was too keen, inquisitive and gave a try.
Asked her ... So tell me, How are you?
"You should ask yourself", came her reply.
I'm YOUR LIFE, and you should know it well.
Is there anything You dont know and I should tell?
I was silent for she was right.
As we passed, she came across few friends.
Joy, Sorrow, Success and Failure met regularly at every corner and bends.
As I walked with her, at times I stumbled and fell,
She said, "You've to face it. The road is not so smooth. It's a difficult trail."
Then came a mountain made of troubles on the way.
Stress, depression and calamities were at bay.
This is where people get into a trap
They succumb to challenges, misery and mishap.
She asked me If I can take this up and cross the bar.
For I can hold you tight or leave your hand.
It's all about the game in your mind and heart..
Be brave, courageous or fall and depart.
Let us not be so fragile and weak.
Bend to our sufferings and grumble and shriek.
For testing times, count our patience and endurance.
What we do with our LIFE, is of utmost importance.
I had an amazing Conversation with Life.
I asked her, "When can we meet again? "
She told ask "HOPE" , for the details of Where and When.

                                                 -Tina Laz
