Rain

I knew it was raining outside.
I could feel it weighing my body down.
So much contemplation when it rains;
Endless thoughts of making it
and how.
The sound of rain drops
are like distant buzzing to the ear.
At this time of the year,
the rain instantly changes form
once it hits the ground: Ice.
What once was tranquil is now dangerous.
Now I can't help but wonder,
what will I be once I hit the ground
