3 Am

It was 3 am when
my heart shattered
I shattered it on the ground
I shattered it into a thousand pieces
I shattered it into a pile of broken glass
I finally discovered beauty in destruction
the shards were diamonds laying there,
reflecting the moon like little mirroballs
inviting me to a lonely party on my own
So this night I celebrated how I danced
under the starry sky and on the grave
of what had had to die before it could bear freedom

Strangely enough, nothing good happens at 3 am, only bad things happen. Strangely enough, it's 4 am with me.
