A poem written
to beat you
It is weaponised 
I am weaponised
My judgement
of you 
an attack
on me 
I don’t know the rules 
or understand the rules
I recognise that feeling though
rising
again
to meet 
me 
Another chance 
another chance to break 
me 
I don’t know the rules
or understand the rules
the voice
the rhythm 
the meter
But I understand you better now
I know you are brave
Braver 
Braver than me
