Better Days
There are days when we sit and think
Will all be well?
Days when we ask ourselves an important question like
What does the future hold?
Days when we aspire to be like our favorite celebrity crush
Days when we cry ourselves to sleep,not because all isn't well
But because all will be well
Days when we sleep on an empty stomach
And trust that tomorrow will be better
But our circumstances doesn't stop or deter us from being what we are meant to be
Because we trust in the one who created us
And so we say in faith that;
Better days are coming, days when we will look back and smile at what our past was
Days when we will shed tears of joy for the improvement we've made so far
Days when we will laugh at what didn't take us down but made us stronger
Better days are coming;
Days when we will stop, look around us and thank God that we didn't give up when things were hard
And now that a better day is here, let us strive to show love to those who are going through hard times
Because we continually rise by lifting others
A better day is here, a day when we sit to narrate how we didn't give up when things were tough.
