Sometimes Lonely

The winds come and go
Like a cold breeze from long ago
Across the sea they blow
Up the shore
That's where they like to go
And past me they seem too flow
Blowing my hair to and fro
Leaving tears in my eyes
As to say sweet child goodbye
All at once everything is still
Except the sea upon the shore

NOTE: This poem was published many years ago in an anthology book under my maiden name Chasteen. I wanted to share this again with you. Thank you
