"internal Scar"

My life hasn't been the same since you left my side,
Until i see you again ill take our memories in stride.
Their isn't a word in the dictionary that can express my pain & define,
My better half that is missin', Oh Lord! how could this happen to a close ken of mine.

When we were together their were other duo's, but we could never be duplicated,
When one of us broke the rules, We! accepted the punishment refusing to be interrogated.
Reminiscing on how we laughed, joked & played & sometimes we got into a tussle,
But it wasn't a fight we learned to use our minds instead of relying on straight muscle.

I'll find other friends less than a few will come close, but none will be worthy,
So ill never try to fill your spot, but do like the n.b.a. & retire your jersey.
I'll do anything to hear your voice one more time my friend,
Until we meet again my mission is to fulfill our dreams to the end.

I envy you because you have already made the awaited immortal crossover,
Your legacy i will carry like a leprechaun & his four leaf clover.
When i speak to you i pause at the end hopin' you'll speak back,
Wishin' you were here to help me carry this world's trial & tribulation stack.

As hard as it was for me emotionally to carry on with this journey alone,
Your last heartfelt words ill forever use as strong continuous steppin' stones.
I can feel you lookin' down on me as you motivate me from a unique star,
It's been years since your death, but i continue to cry from pain felt from an internal scar.
