Darkness Reigns

I close my eyes to see,
What may or may not be.
There! Floating in the sky,
Destruction, Fear and Death.
I’m holding my breath.
Noone can see, noone can hear,
But I know they are right here.
Then they whisper: Welcome Darkness
And my head becomes a mess.
My eyes are closed as Darkness screams:
I’ve come to take you by all means!
I stand still, my hands on my ears,
But there’s nothing that Darkness fears.
I open my eyes, I feel the pain
Now nothing is left, Darkness reigns.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
