Shedding

What started as a promise, became failure
What started as strong, became weakness
What started as hope, became despair

What started as plan A became plan C
What started in one place, moved to another
What started in pain, turned to hope
What started as weakness, became awareness
What started as despair, turned to a new beginning
What started as failure, began to rebuild

I’m shedding the past, for promises of future

I’m shedding the pain, with promises of support

I’m shedding the old, to allow the new to begin

I’m shedding the necessary things, to grow internally

I’m shedding bad habits, with habits of daily scripture, and devotionals

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Yes, if we take time for God and the Holy Spirit in our lives then everything else will fall into place. Thank you for sharing this one with us. Sara K
