This Word

Memory.
What is this word
We taste in our mind
Of unlimited remembrance
And timeless obsession?
This word.
Of creation’s language
And time’s resource.
A length of admiration
Or an undesirable disguise
Of which to hide behind.
Memory.
Soft words of encouragement.
Needle points of realization.
Relentless beauty.
A sinners worst nightmare.
A tireless child.
A sunset’s reappearance.
This word.
Trailing like a shadow.
Smoke in the sky.
Soundless laughter.
Flowers tucked in the grass.
As if all was lost
But not forgotten.

Very nice, Meghan.I loved some of the lines such as "flowers tucked in grass" and "a sinner's worse nightmare" Great message and I loved how your alternated Memory with 'the word" Andrea
