No New Friends

I'll say it again to, as I have done before
I can't stand the voices, not a moment more
I have tried time & time again to make the disappear
But here they remain, loud & clear
Nothing I do ever drowns them out
All my efforts only make them shout
A peaceful mind must be a sin
Because I have bad days that come in sets of ten
I hear them loudly through chirping birds & rustling trees
I actually believe they travel with the wind
This curse of mine will undoubtedly win
For the fact remains that they are my closest friend
