I Miss You

by: Kelsey Nichole Morgan

everytime i sit here; and think;

when i think i see you;

you make me smile;

laugh; i miss you;

all those great times weve had;

i wish we could have more memories;

with these thoughts in my head; i get confused;

why, how could this happen to you;

why did you have to go so soon;

do you think of me; of the great times; that we once had;

i miss you;

in the hospital; beep beep beep; all happy we are;

straight line; our hearts stop;

i could feel a lump in my throat;

tears start to fall like rain; i miss you;

i try to forget; but i remember;

i think about that very moment;

i sit here and think;

 why did this happen;

 i miss you

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Kelsey - What a heartbreaking poem - You know at 4 I watched my mother drown and I spent most of my life asking that same question - I reckon only God Knows why - God Bless, MJ
