Storms

There are times when I am just tired of the endless rain.
Walking in the middle of this desert, once again.
No one knows the chaos of the battle I am fighting for my seed.
Faith is a choice, its something you must feed.
The darkness I feel at times, is part of the process I am facing to grow.
When my tears I do not show.
Tell me, what are you facing today?
Life has to be better than this, it does not matter what people say.
I know that things can't always go my way.
My first battle plan should be to pray.
For my creator is the one who fights for me.
He will give me the victory in what I can't yet see.
Bitterness is a choice, for my enemy's suffering I cannot rejoice.
For some people, this would be insanity.
But I will stand tall and not give up, until I see my miracle become a reality.
All is not lost, true happiness has a cost.
Empathy and kindness in humanity are now a strange breed.
Realizing that during any storm, Jesus is all I will ever need.
