Sad Facts

Poem Title: “SAD FACTS”
By: Amb. Woyea Writes
Date: April 19, 2022

Certainly, not wholly,
Life stretches its,
hands-of noble souls,
noble hearts are transformed,
not for the best,
but the worst.

Dreams and aspirations,
Not realized are gone.
Notwithstanding, the pain of sowing,
without reaping. Education without success
plans without implementation,
projects without completion,
school without graduation.

One comes, empty
Shall return, empty
Is the slogan ringing in the ears,
Yet a soul braves,
Paying quota to the cult.

Tribute to the living,
Blessing to the numb.
Sorrow is everyone’s antagonist,
Yet, mortality embraces legitimacy against every soul,
Be it: handsome, beautiful, cute,
Admiring, best dressed, rich, poor, stingy, proud,
Selfish, and bouncing,
You’re bound for dust befriending.

Uninformed arrest awaits all,
None escapes the doomed-cold night of the arrest.
The color known is black.

The anthem played is “Rest on”
When shall the rest end? Not a soul knows,
Believing is consent,
accepting is conscious.

Everyone’s appointed,
Yet none knows the venue.
Howbeit, the soul rejoices in the melody of the
Golden trumpet,
Which beats and ye’aa surrender all mortal-beings.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
