Not even a full day

I lost the love of my life
I lost the one I wanted to be for life
I lost my best friend
I lost my biggest cheer leader
I lost my one person, I always go back to
For good or bad, for sharing a bit of happiness
Or a bitter sad story
Ughh!!
I listened to the goodnight you sent me months ago,
Glad I didn't delete the texts,
But somehow
A story without starting with a “so"
Was hard to find online as well
I just couldn't sleep
I know I said no,
And I should have struck with it
The very first time I said it
Now it's no,
But holds so much I never knew
I could give anyone
I didn't just lose a somebody in my life
I lost a fine moment and man from my life
A void no one can ever fill
A void I can never get out from
Not anymore
But I know the no I said
Means a lot more
I respect that and yeah,
maybe
I am done
Or we are both just done too
