Sorry to our love

I can never be everything you wanted me to be
You wished for us to hold hands together
With me, you should always be holding my hand
I want to change for better
But Can't help moments between us
They are taking me back to my dark past

In denial with your love
It is sad for me too
In love with you was true
But scared of losing me is way more true
It's quite a choice between you or me?

I know choosing “you” would be easy
It will hurt less number of people
Restore happiness in an entire family
Help you relieve a bottle of joy.

“Me”, will just be hurting me
But I can't lose myself to live with you
I can't feel us if
I can't feel me
I can't do this anymore

I don't need time, I don't need anything
All I need is for you to be happy
Just saw your face now, all sad and teary,
Knowing the reason is what we had!

I regret saying yes in the first place
The little reckless me was up before a thoughtful me
Silly I was to say yes,
Without knowing how things at worst might be

Well!! They're gonna suck!
And I wanna fall out of the loop
Before I am dragged in
Cause I am pretty sure I can never come back
Out of it this time.

To me, letting you go is
my best thing and my only thing I can do for us.
Truly, I am sorry for loving you and
making you fall in love with me again.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
