A Sunset In the Background

A posture of integrity
A sunset in the background
A conquest left behind
A sea of fire to come back

A woman turned its back on it
A boy cried in her arms
A fleck in her cheek
A run to the street

A desperate cry
A bomb inside
A child in need
A useless creed

Alas! is the clamoring
At last! is the saving
At least is what follows
A lot is the burden
Ash is the mood
Another heaving is not aloof.
A help when its opportune
As a fee that is never renewed
