Love That Was Never Spoken

there once was a girl
her name was Jaelyn
she liked this boy
his name is Jason
the only thing is
they're best friends
they had been since 3rd grade
they hung out every day
and they never fought
then one day
the truth came out
they were at the park
just hanging out
Jaelyn looked up
into his eyes
and she got lost
her thoughts turned into words
"I LOVE YOU"
her eyes got wide
as she realized what she said
and she ran off
that night
Jason tried to call her
but she never anserd
so he went to her house
her parents said that she hadn't been home
they were all worried
the next day the police showed up
she had been in an accident
there was nothing they could do
they found a note in her poket
it said
 dear: Jason
I'm sorry for today. we have been friends for seven years and i'm sure you don't like
me that way. I LOVE YOU, bye
tears started rolling down his face
and he said
"I LOVE YOU TO"
