Love: a Chain Reaction

Love is my haven from the anguish of the world,
shielding me from everything I despise and fear.
Love is in my heart with your arm around my shoulder.
You’re singing me to sleep, with lullabies so sweet.
Love is anytime someone lends a hand
to help a fallen soul get back on their feet.
Love is here, in us, because in every heart
is a tender spirit, warmed with each emotion.
Love is more than just a feeling: it's a chain reaction.
Now devote a little love and watch it as it spreads,
as dominoes of passion drop in place around us,
as the seeds we planted grow all about us.
Love is wasted if you hide it.
Love gives life if you share it.
