Get Over It

The day was bright and grey
A fake smile on my face
But I was involved with myself,
In my brain, with a fray.
Unaware of everything that's going around me
I was deeply dejected, after all
It was not just a bruise on my knee.
I was in my own dark world
I wish that I could tell somebody
My mind was not there
where you saw my body.
It was a short period of time
Gone through that mental breakdown
Whom should I blame?
Why do I frown?
A near-death experience, I know
is worse than this
But to get over any of them
is not less than a bliss.
Though it's not easy to get over
The heart is wounded
And you need to be your own lover.
Know you own worth
Because this mean world would never tell
If you believe in KARMA like me
Remember, there is something like Heaven and He'll....

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
