Anarchy

Anarchy

Terror stalks the night undaunted
Myrmidons of hate unchained from history’s dungeons
March in service to evil’s blackest spirit
While Archangels stare unseeing into Satan’s sinister heart.

Blood flows rivers, vermin feed and thrive
In fearsome villages of cruelty
Where lust and vengeance rule with icy grip
And courage lies weeping in the darkest corner.

Stalking, stalking, stalking all love deceased
Unfettered menace chisels coldly at hope’s heart
While mother’s milk turns poison
And faith loses all armor.

And when time turns past this sunless day
The craven army of the night retreats
To huddle without warmth in wait
For Anarchy’s next dark eclipse come.
