as homily too
life the main blessing
despite pain, grief or stressing
seems worth professing
what we haven't got
drives many human's sub-plot
until being caught
unthinking chatter
caustic words maim and batter
reactions matter
may not bring relief
to become what we believe
ethos can deceive
immense sense of self
placed above everything else
brings bad mental health
thoughts toss and turning
mind becomes lost in churning
as past lies burning
we know what we know
in quest to prosper and grow
seek the apropos
choose to perceive it
no demands to believe it
take it or leave it
