Requiem For a Mouse
Oh poor mouse
You picked the wrong house
No Buddhist I
Though I did nearly cry
When I wrought your end
I’m a treacherous friend
You begged to be my pet
I’m not that evolved yet
What a price to pay
For a crumb each day
At least it was quick
One more bad tick
On my karmic slate
Gluing my fate
