Thoughts

These thoughts running through my head,
I lay awake silent, in my bed.

I turned on my favorite song,
Wishing that you wasn't gone.

Holding on to my teddy real tight,
Wondering how I'm going to make it threw the night.

A single tear ran down my cheek,
I hate myself for being so weak.

I try to be strong,
but the pain urges on.

My heart feels heavy as led,
I sit here wishing I was dead.

How long must I stay awake?
When the morning light is about to break?

These thoughts running threw my head.
I lay awake silent in my bed.
