Why was I given a voice,
When I was told to be quiet?
Why was I given ears,
When I was commanded to not hear?
Why was I given eyes,
When I was ordered to not see?
Why was I given skin,
When I was instructed to not feel?
Why was I given a soul,
When I was directed to not live?
