Days of Worry

Amused by the scenario outside
My heart wept loud inside
What has happened to this world?
I saw a dull life around when I swirled.

Every human with a mask on the face
Everywhere abandoned were the place
Roads instead of car, occupied by barricades,
Economy being degraded in cascades.

Migrants walking thousand miles
Their thirst and hunger defeating smiles
Shops in shutters with a lock that were wide
Posters on walls with rules to abide.

Doctors serving with a spirit that is new
Policeman on duty that is tight for the view
Workers fumigating the area we reside
I saw the birds flying high with pride.
