Without You

A young boy has lost his mother. He is in a bleak situation. He has wept a lot and his future remains uncertain. His father left him when he was small.

He stands near the grave,
Red-eyed, filled with disbelief;
As if dejection has made him a slave.
When he tries to remember her face,
A chill runs down his spine,
He remembers, he used to spend late nights with his mother
Spotting patterns in the stars that shined.

Now, the moonlight is his shelter,
And the cold wind his friend,
There is no idea, how that ruthless night would end.
It's the most dreadful thing that God can ever do,
The poor boy is forced to say-
"It's painful to live in a world without you".
