The Day the World Stopped

Everything was so chaotic,
People were idiotic.
Nothing was the same,
All the libs claimed Trump was to blame.
Just about all the stores
Had to close all their doors.
There was no toilet paper to be found,
And all of the people were frowned.
The government began to scream,
Which became a common theme.
BE SMART!
STAY SIX FEET APART!
But the people would not listen,
There was so much contention.
People were not allowed to touch or hug,
Researchers were working as fast as they could to find a drug.
Then one day there was a stay-at-home order,
And all the people were no longer striving to cross the border.
Since there wasn’t the usual hustle and bustle,
The world didn’t have so much as a rustle.
Seismologist noticed the vibrations of the earth were gone,
Everyone began to say, “is this a new dawn”?
The earth began to stand still,
And many people were asking, “was this all real?”
What could this all mean?
It has never before been seen.
Prayer became the new norm,
THIS WAS THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM!

Nicely done! What fascinates me is that the virus is so welcomed by the eyes, yet neither the AMA, Trump, nor anyone else has warned people to protect their eyes! Aloha! Rico
