Love's Week

Loving me beyond words
Even to the fall you rode
On a donkey never sold

Each step towards misery
A king’s entry with branches
We played our part with dances

Partake in the feast soonest
With the 12 we’ll feast
Blessings from the top to the least

Wash not my feet, not mine
Speak not always this much
All a part of me must do such

Bathe me with your love then
If you may, wash me whole
Mankind, be kind and serve the soul

Feed on me I give you
Fruit of the vine
Take all that is mine

Despise me not whilst I love thee
A friend lost for thirty
Kisses also come from friends unworthy

Upon bended knees cast your cares
Together we should fight hardship
But a cock reveals a true friendship

Whips, scorns and thorns revealed true love
Spits, insults and pains bagged your troubles
Calvary here I come in struggles

On this wood we won all
All for love,
Taken from above

Roses are red
Violets are blue
It is finished, I love you

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
