I Am Dead

Here I sit
Alone
At wits
End I am
And I can
See ahead
I am dead

Who Am I?
Where?
And Why?
This I feel
Can't be real
So near am I
To when I die

Now my friend
At the end
of the night
I loose sight
As sleep is wed
Then
I am dead

So be still
And I will
Leave you now
I don't know how
I lie in bed
And
I am dead
