Alone

I still need to feel loved
When I am old, it fades away
But I am still the same
Saying it is not enough
Nor is buying it
I feel ignored
I feel alone
The smallest things can make a change
A hug
A kiss
Sliding your hand into mine and whispering from depths of your heart, "I love you so much"
For once if it is you and not me who acts first
I will know
I will know that I am not ignored
Not alone
Not forgotten
And still loved
It's the tiny tiny light in my heart that lights up most
For I am still the same
I have not changed
I want to be loved

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
