Empty But Full

Feel so full

Ever feel full but empty too?
Just a number at work but what you gna do?
Father at home, the bees knees, their favourite guy?
Try your best, a smile, a joke, don’t ask me why...
Empty, but yet so full.....life? Repetitious but anything but dull.
Am I ungrateful? Don’t know what I’ve got.
A trade, a Mrs, 3 kids?
I’ve got a lot..
Changed my mind... it’s not empty at all,
Take a step back, see the bigger picture.

Stand proud and tall.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
